Next Week in Crypto – 04/22/19-04/28/19

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Next week in crypto land sees a couple of all-star conferences, one of which features Roger Ver, who by virtue of being ‘Bitcoin Jesus’ must be pretty hard to book at this time of year. London is also hosting a gaggle of the some of the world’s top companies, probably for the last time, as it holds a heavy-hitting blockchain conference. Oh, and a coin is getting delisted from Binance – but you might just know about that already.

April 22 – Binance Delisting Bitcoin Cash SV

Don’t know if you heard about this. Something about Binance delisting a Bitcoin Cash fork coin. Doubt it will be a big thing.

April 23-24 – Blockchain Life 2019 Asia (Singapore)

Singapore hosts the 3rd international Blockchain Life conference, which features 80+ speakers and 60+ exhibitions from 70+ countries. Crypto luminaries such as Roger Ver and Tim Draper will be in attendance, as well as representatives from Binance, Litecoin, NEO, Dash, Bitmain, Huobi, and more to discuss everything blockchain and crypto. Tickets are available at three tiers – standard ($169), business ($599), and VIP ($929) – and you can pay in BTC.

April 25 – Matic IEO (Binance Launchpad)

Binance airs the next episode of its IEO drama ‘Launchpad’ Thursday. Previous episodes BitTorrent, Fetch.AI, and Celer have attracted a big audience, but with other exchanges now airing their own episodes, will Matic still pull in the crowds? We’ll have to wait and see. Maybe they’ll roll out Craig Wright at halftime to get the crowd fired up.

April 25-26 – Blockchain Expo Global 2019 (London)

London is fast becoming a blockchain center in Europe, so it’s no surprise to see it hosting the 2019 Blockchain Expo Global. The conference is quite blockchain-heavy, featuring talks and discussions on subjects such as enterprise blockchain solutions, AI, IoT, security, and data analytics. Speakers stem from all areas of enterprise, including Philip Morris International, Bank of England, EDF Energy, PWC, BP, Maersk, and Samsung.

Not one for the faint-hearted, but if you’re into the nitty-gritty of blockchain, and you’re in London this week, it could be a good bet. Tickets are still available in three tiers ranging from £299 ($389) to £1,199 ($1,560).

Because We’re Living in a Blockchain World…

Whether you’re packing your hand fan for Singapore, your London underground map (hint: stand on the right on the escalator), or you’re buying up your BNB for the Matic token sale, we hope you have a very blockchain week. Unless you’re a Bitcoin Cash SV fan, in which case…
